I want to explore the possible web presence for my Waitrose Picnic brief - as this would be an integral part of directing the consumers to product range as well as encouraging people to buy the products when online shopping. At the moment there is a large promotion for the Christmas range of products, as well as online Christmas recipe cards. I plan to mock up both these elements for the Picnic range.

website research for Ponya brief
I have been reflecting on websites that I like to try and get an idea of what would be suitable for the Ponya website. I like these fairly monochromatic colour palettes as I think that they help the designs and products to stand out and speak for themselves.
I think that having a feature image on the homepage or even every page adds some interesting imagery to the website or perhaps a close up of a product to show detail or even a close up of a swing tag to help reinforce the brand identity.
This website is for amagazine but I really like the format. It reminds me of a desk the way that the elements are laid out. I like how the logo and index of pages doesnt move as you scroll but the main body does. I like the size of the image that acts as a header on each page.
This website (below) exhibits the posters in a really nice way and I think that the way they enlarge and the background filters out slightly to allow the viewer to zoom in works really well.
